Urgent Appeals
Joshua Vehicle
Joshua's Project vehicle has finally reached it's last legs and we desperately need to replace it. It is essential to have transport out to the villages and communities where we work and a 4x4 high clearance vehicle is the only type that can reach some of our more remote project sites. If you can help towards our fundraising drive to get a second-hand vehicle, please send your donation or make a bank transfer to the Joshua Account with the reference 'Car'.
Maternity Clinic
The clinic built in July 2008 is well on it's way to being the first of it's kind in the area. However, we are desperately in need of staff to work within the clinic, to ensure it can operate as a fully functional clinic 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. At present the government have agreed to send temporary staff on an ad-hoc basis to the clinic but they will only provide full-time government funded staff if staff housing is provided. It will cost £20,000 to finish one of these houses, which will house up to two or three members of staff. If you can help with our fundraising efforts please send your donation as a cheque or bank transfer marked 'Clinic'.
